OUR AUCTIONS
Sourcing
Our team of gem experts meticulously sources high-value polished coloured gemstones from globally renowned mines and trusted suppliers. Each gem undergoes rigorous evaluation and verification processes to ensure its authenticity, quality and value.
Certification
Our team ensures that all gemstones are certified by the world’s top laboratories for origin determination, quality, and sometimes rarity. We work with globally renowned institutions such as AGL, GRS, Gübelin, and SSEF for these certifications.
Buyers – Invitation Only
We encourage potential buyers to attend our exclusive auctions by invitation only. Each invitee will undergo a thorough KYC process, carefully managed by our legal team, ensuring that all participants meet Jemora Gemhouse’s required criteria.
Event Catalogue
Each auction event will feature a comprehensive catalogue showcasing the selected coloured gemstones. This catalogue will provide detailed information about each gemstone, including its intrinsic features, rarity, certificate summary, and estimated valuation.
Strict No Photography Policy
Photos and videos of the gemstones are strictly prohibited before or during the event to preserve the exclusivity and rarity of our collections. This policy ensures that each gem’s unique value and beauty is maintained for our discerning buyers.
Event Location – DDE, Almas Tower, Dubai
All the events will be hosted at DMCC’s Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE) in Dubai. DMCC is home to over 1,300 top gem enterprises and the only trading exchange for diamonds and coloured stones in the GCC. The DDE offers significant benefits for traders specialising in precious gemstones.
Security and Insurance
The DDE venue will have stringent security measures, including surveillance cameras and physical security. All gemstones will be fully insured while in Jemora Gemhouse’s custody. Transguard, a division of the Emirates Group, with Malca-Amit as the international logistics agent, will handle logistics.
Cloud-based Software – Bidgemmer
Jemora Gemhouse partners with the cloud-based service provider Bidgemmer (www.bidgemmer.com) to ensure all data is fully secured and maintained. This comprehensive platform handles every aspect of the auction process, from sending invitations and recording client information to allowing secure online bidding.
All clients will receive a unique login ID and password, allowing them to place their bids on the closing day. The bidding process will be conducted online, enabling buyers to track their offers in real time. Winners will be notified within minutes of the auction closing.
The winning prices and buyers’ names will not be disclosed to ensure strict confidentiality.
Upon selection for the event, buyers will be provided with detailed terms and conditions.
